4-H Judging Day

Judging day is over and it's time to enjoy the county fair!!

This was our first year in 4-H so we were unsure what to expect. I'd heard a lot of things about it both good and bad, but the day went surprisingly smooth.

The judging tables were well organized and the lines weren't too long. We made it through in record time and all the kiddos got blue ribbons on their projects!

Congrats to the kids and tomorrow we'll go and actually enjoy the fair.

  2. Congrats on the blue ribbons and making it to judging day!
I know that getting there can be as much turmoil for MOM as it is for the 4Hers! (I have two, myself!)
If I can offer any advice for you: Make the kids stand in line themselves! After last year's cake disaster (I dropped my daughter's cake decorating project and single-handedly took out two other kids' projects in the process!) I've refused to carry anyone's stuff in the judging line.
Enjoy the fair! I hope you have great weather! We're in the high 90s for our State Fair this week and it's awful!
